2016 Cheechako Shootout

In exactly the same way as the main ADO website, this Youth website relies on input from ADO members and tournaments, so the more information we receive, the more content there will be on here!

Of course, one of the main factors in the development of the site has been the increase in North American youth tournaments ranked by the World Darts Federation.  However, we are interested in ALL youth tournaments in this country, and want to promote everything we can.

A few years ago, Alaska was home to a thriving youth program, but interest has sadly waned since then.  Thanks to the wonderful efforts of former ADO Regional Director Jeff Olson, and current office-holder Phil Wheeler, it looks like we will have a flourishing multi-club youth system in the state.

To kick things off with a bang, we welcome the First Annual Cheechako Shootout!  The date is Saturday, March 19, 2016, and the first event starts at 11.00am (registration closes at 10.45am).  Venue is the American Legion in Kenai.

The tournament is open to all under-21’s, and has both singles events (with age classifications), and Youth/Adult doubles events.  We hope to see just as many girls in action as boys, and entry to all events is FREE!  There are trophies up for grabs, and free food!
